All NFA rules apply
All Alexander Arms® upper receiver assemblies are fully-complete, function-tested, and ready to fire. This product cannot be ordered along with a .50 Beowulf® lower receiver due to NFA rules and short-barrel rifle laws.
There is not a muzzle device that can be installed to bring the overall barrel length to 16 inches. It is not possible for this upper receiver assembly to be configured in a way that circumvents NFA rules or short-barreled rifle laws.
All uppers and rifles are built to order and have an estimated lead time of 4-6 weeks.

|Q1.||Is this product compatible with my AR-15 lower receiver?|
|All of our upper receiver assemblies will fit on and be compatible with any standard-specification AR-15 lower receiver. No fitting or modifications are needed. If your lower receiver is made to standard AR-15 specifications, our products will work perfectly. We do not catalog all compatible lower receiver assemblies as this is not possible. We cannot confirm whether your lower receiver assembly is considered standard or mil-spec; you should contact the manufacturer to confirm this.|
|Q2.||Will this product require me to replace the buffer or buffer spring with something heavier/stronger/different/better?|
|No, replacement of the buffer or buffer spring components is not required and they should not be replaced unless they are non-standard. Please review Question 1. Our products are specifically designed to use these particular, standard components and no others just so that owners do not have to make specialized changes to their standard receivers. Replacement of these standard buffer components when using our products will not reduce recoil, help the weapon manage the higher recoil in any way, or help the weapon cycle better. The only possible result is the failure to cycle ammunition properly because you will have removed the parts required to operate the weapon properly. Specifically, the correct buffer types are A2 in full-length receiver extensions and H2 in carbine-length receiver extensions.|
|Q3.||Can I order this product?|
|Yes, you can.|
|Q4.||Does this product have to ship to an FFL-holder?|
|Upper receiver assemblies are not regulated in any way by the BATFE. They are not serialized and cannot readily fire ammunition by themselves because they do not contain a fire control group. Therefore, their shipment is not prohibited by any state or locality in the United States or its territories. Please be aware of your state's regulations for certain firearms components, such as magazine capacities and muzzle devices, before ordering.|
|Q5.||Of what material is the handguard made?|
|The handguard is made of G10 fiberglass composite material. It is not made of aluminum or carbon fiber.|
|Q6.||Does the .50 Beowulf® use special AR-15 parts that are installed in special ways?|
|Aside from the ejection port size, barrel, gas block, bolt assembly, and magazine, the .50 Beowulf® weapon system does not use specialized parts. These parts are not installed in special ways. The .50 Beowulf® is built just as any AR-15 weapon is built. We do take measures to ensure that components are installed to last many years to come. This includes many adhesives and other materials that prevent the weapon's components from loosening during regular use.|
|Q7.||Does the .50 Beowulf® upper receiver assembly have an ejection port door?|
|No, the .50 Beowulf® was designed not to have an ejection port door. No ejection port door is manufactured that fits the .50 Beowulf® upper receiver.|
|Q8.||Can I order this product without a certain part installed? Can I order only certain components of this weapon, such as the barrel?|
|We do not produce or sell incomplete weapon systems or stripped components of weapons. All weapons are sold as described: 100% complete, fully-functional, and fully-tested assemblies.|
|Q9.||Does this product include a bolt and carrier group?|
|As you see in the product description and other locations in the Online Store, this weapon system and all weapon systems we produce are 100% complete. We do not produce or sell incomplete upper/rifle assemblies.|
|Q10.||Will Alexander Arms® build a custom weapon, component, or option for me?|
|We do not build custom weapons, components, or options. All available products, parts, and options can be found in the Online Store. If an item you wish to purchase is not displayed, it is not produced, sold, or offered by Alexander Arms®.|
|Q11.||How effective is the muzzle brake on the .50 Beowulf®?|
|They are extremely effective. Felt recoil is somewhat subjective, but we estimate at least 30% and possibly up to 50% recoil reduction. Obviously, the muzzle blast noise is dramatically increased, but it makes the recoil feel more like a 20-gauge shotgun load. It is the single best option you can buy with the weapon.|
|Q12.||What level of accuracy will this weapon achieve?|
|This product is not provided with an accuracy guarantee. However, customers commonly report sub-MOA accuracy with all of our weapon systems.|
|Q13.||What kind of lower receiver do I need or what kind of lower receiver can I use with this upper receiver? Exactly how do I use this upper receiver legally?|
|You may legally install this product onto any AR-15 lower receiver with which a short-barreled upper receiver assembly legally can be used. Your preferred firearms dealer can discuss this matter with you in depth and prepare you for owning a lower receiver that can be used as a pistol or short-barreled rifle.|
|Q14.||Which muzzle brake can I choose to bring the overall barrel length to 16 inches?|
|No .50 Beowulf® muzzle brake will add four inches to the length of this barrel. Such a device would measure approximately six inches in length. If you must have an upper receiver assembly that has a barrel length of at least 16 inches, please consider ordering one of our other models, each of which already have this barrel length.|
